Rules And Regulations

The School authorities reserve the right to take appropriate disciplinary action including dismissal against anyone whose conduct is detrimental to the moral tone, discipline and educative atmosphere of the School.

Students shall attend class regularly and punctually. Students are expected to keep the Classrooms and School premises clean and make use of the litter bins. Care must be taken for all School property. Damage done to buildings, furniture, library books, sports goods etc., must be paid for Students are not permitted to have their lunch inside the classroom.

Students desirous of participating in any co-curricular or extra curricular activity outside the school shall produce a letter from the father / guardian requesting permission, clearly indicating the duration or numbers of days. He may participate in such events only with explicit permission of the Principal.

Students are advised not to bring any valuables such as gold chains, cameras, cell phones, pen drives, i-pod & media players, costly watches or other articles to the School. The School will not be responsible for the loss of pupil’s belongings. Every student should bring the “Hand Book” to the school on all working days. It contains all the detailed information regarding the teaching, learning experience in the school.

San Thome students passing out from Std X, wishing to continue their Higher Secondary Education in this School, should also seek fresh admission to Std XI. The Student’s behavious should be gentlemanly at all times and in all places, both inside and outside the School.

Organising or collecting funds for any purpose without a written permission from the Principal is forbidden.

We expect that the students entrusted to our care will conduct themselves to the satisfaction of all concerned and leave the school after a successful career as God fearing young men and women, useful to themselves, their parents and their country. Any student involving in the following acts will be charged under School Rules on the very day.

  1. Copying and helping others to copy, and other malpractice such as altering marks and forging signatures.
  2. Physical violence-fighting with other students, causing serious injuries, getting involved in activities or a criminal nature.
  3. Smoking and other unhealthy practices that are punishable under Legal and Educational Rules.
  4. Stealing thing inside and outside the school.
  5. Groupism, Cheating and other associated activities.
  6. Teasing others, especially outside the school.
  7. Use of Vulgar language and indecent behavior.
  8. Possession of materials of low moral value (Books, Cds, Electronic gadgets & Pendrives)
  9. Disrespect for School Authorities and Teachers.
  10. Continued absence for more than 5 days without any information or pervious permission.
  11. Engaging in Private Tuitions without the written permission of the School authorities.
  12. Any action that will lower the credibility of School going children specially that of our school.
  13. Unruly behavior at Bus Stops or while travelling.
  14. Absenting on important School Functions days, without prior permission or intimation on the day.
  15. Refusing to participate in school programmes.
  16. Joining other sports clubs, courses and institutions without the permission of the Principal.
